Mardi Gras Casino and Resort burst onto the scene back in 1985, as Tri-State Greyhound Park, zooming around the track with greyhound racing excitement. Then, in 1990, it got a makeover courtesy of Hartman & Tyner, transforming into the gaming hotspot you know and love today. Fast forward to 2002, where a massive 57,000 square-foot expansion evolved the location, turning it into the thrilling Tri-State Racing & Gaming Center.

In 2007, Kanawha County granted permission for table gaming, and the location added it the very next year, alongisde unveiling its new name: Mardi Gras. In 2010, the location decided to up the ante with a luxurious 150-room hotel addition, officially becoming Mardi Gras Casino & Resort.

In 2018, the torch was passed to Delaware North, a titan in the realm of hospitality management, ushering in a new era of innovation and excellence.
